Dad’s Army (2016)
This is a new film about the Home Guard of Warmington on Sea. Obviously, it has a new cast (although Jones’s van is apparently the original and the surviving cast have cameos), but the new cast all fill their roles well. It is refreshing to see a new story about them, and for characters such as Cissy and Dolly Godfrey and Elizabeth Mannering to be given more prominence than they had in the TV series.

Comedy western about mistaken identity in a small mining town. It has a number of cast in common with the film Suppprt your local sherif which is a bit distracting.

This is a film adaptation of a little known Jane Austen story featuring the biggest flirt in England Lady Susan. It is quite funny particularly any scene with Sir James Martin whose naivety and innocence of what is going on is very amusing.

Recorded live in the US this is the musical Grease set in a 1950s highschool following 2 groups the cool guys in the T Birds and the book girls in pink ladies in their final year.
It is a very ambitious production but the live audience is a bit strange as they do not always fit in.

What she doesn’t realise is he is Joe Fox the boss of the big book shop who she hates (or so she thinks).
