Brittas Empire (Complete Series)

Funny BBC sitcom starring Chris Barrie as the manager of Whitbury Newtown Leisure Centre Gordon Brittas. Me Brittas is well meaning but goes about things in a strange insensitive way. Some of the plots are very odd particularly in the later series.

Goes Wrong Show, The (Series 1) (2020)

This is the DVD of the first TV series from Mischief Theatre Company. It includes 6 episodes which are each just under 30 minutes.

Every episode is hilarious, with many laugh out loud moments in each mini-farce. These are set in the universe of the Cornely Dramatic Society, and continuing in-jokes from some of their earlier productions.

The episodes are:

Spirit of Christmas – Set at Christmas where a girl needs help believing in the magic of Christmas.

The Pilot (not The Pilot) – Set in WW2 about pilots.

A Trial to Watch – A courtroom drama.

The Lodge – A thriller about a spooky haunted house

Harper’s Locket – A costume drama.

90 Degrees – Family dama set in the deep south with some sets at 90 degrees to each other.

Hopefully, there will be many more episodes to come and DVDs of their other productions.
