Interesting exhibition about Emma Hamilton that covers her childhood, through to her sometimes troubled relationships with various men ending with her true love Nelson who seemed to be the first man who cared for and protected her until he died.

Surprising amount of accessibility with lifts available at all levels of the boat. It is good that you can now see what it looks Like under the boat and you get good views from the deck.

London Zoo March 2017

Due to the avian flu all the walk through areas with birds are closed. The tiger cubs are getting bigger making harder to tell whether they are cubs or adults. The young gorillas were out playing and still look small.

Ideal Home Show 2017

A lot of people trying to sell you things you don’t really need with the food stall area now renamed to make it sound like it is an extra show. They had different entrances depending on the type of ticket you had and the goodie bag collection point was well hidden and across the show there wasn’t many freebies.

Another Mother’s Son (2017)

This drama is about the real life story of a woman who lived on Nazi occupied Jersey in WW2.  She takes in an escaped Russian PoW and tries to keep him safe from the Nazis with help from her family and some of the islanders.  They all risk capture and being sent to concentration camps if they are discovered.

This is about a man with dementia who is sent to kill a former Nazi prison guard by a fallow patient at his care home.  Each morning he forgets everything but has a letter to remind him of the mission and the reasons for it, but everything in the letter is not as it seems and this is only revealed when he finds the right man.

A couple of new parents move back to where the wife grew up and the husband now works for his father in law.  he discovers that his wife’s high school boyfriend also works there and they each try to sabotage each other in this comedy.
