Victoria and Albert museum – Pink Floyd

This has (as expected) a lot of information on Pink FDlyod.  You have an audio experience where the headset plays different music as you move around the exhibition.  Fans will probably get a lot out of it, but those who weren’t around in Pink Floyd’s heyday can learn about the group and their music.

Kew Gardens 24 May 2017

The Rhododendrons were partly out (some weren’t out yet and some were dying).  One or 2 roses were out as were some Azaleas.  The pagoda is covered for renovations.

There were a few geese families.

Play about a Bank Robbery, The – Criterion Theatre London (May 2017)

This a very funny farce from the creators of the Play that goes wrong (they plug the play at the curtain call).

It is set in 1950s America and is about a diamond heist from a bank it has laughs from the start to the end and has some funny physical tricks and stunts and a small amount of audience participation (they look for a man in the front row who has a wallet they can borrow).

The theatre is mainly underground but the stalls don’t take too long to get to, but there isn’t much slope so if you had a very tall person in front you might have problems seeing.

Newport Street Gallery London 23 May 2017

This Gallery owned by Damien Hurst is free but didn’t have many visitors.

It had a weird exhibition from Ashley Bickerton, with random objects put together to make sculptures.

Colossal (2017)

This film is hard to categorise.bIt involved monsters, fantasy and comedy, but not too much romance.

The main story starts with a woman in USA who finds she is in control of a monster terorising Sell. She tells some of her friends and they typically to work out what to do but then things start to get out of hand.
