Adeline is 29. In 1937 she has a daughter but her husband dies in a car crash. Adeline also has an accident that results in her ageing process stalling meaning she remains 29 forever. She moves around so that people do not get too suspicious about her condition.

To Kill a Mockingbird (1962)

This is a film set in Alabama in the Depression Era. Gregory Peck stars as Atticus Finch, a widowed father of Scot and Jem. He works as a lawyer and tries to defend a black man who is falsely accused of assaulting a white woman.

Scout is the main protagonist and the film follows her whilst she tries to make sense of the world she is living in.
