Tate Britain – Queer British Art 1861 – 1967

This is apparently the first time there has been a curated exhibition like this It looks at LGBT artists, actors, playwrights and models who were around when homoseuality was still illegal. It includes memorabilia on Oscar Wilde, including the prison door from Reading Gaol and explains the history involved with the various people.

This has a much shorter queue than the ones for the main museum.

The butterflies are in the same place as before and due to the size of the structure it can get crowded.

Interesting exhibition about Emma Hamilton that covers her childhood, through to her sometimes troubled relationships with various men ending with her true love Nelson who seemed to be the first man who cared for and protected her until he died.

This small educational  exhibition in just one room of the Hornmian museum has a number of robot animals that visitors can take partial control of to help understand how animals move and survive.

Victoria and Albert Museum – Undressed: A Brief History of Underwear

This is a small exhibition in the middle of the fashion galleries.  It shows examples of various underwear throughout history.  It largely seems to focus on the higher end rather than looking at what poorer people would wear in history.
