It tells a story about a geriatric NHS hospital in Yorkshire, which is underfunded but loved by those it serves.
It is generally amusing until a twist in the story.

I decided to seize the day and try for a £25 Rush Ticket from TodayTix so that I could watch what happens in Newsies The Musical. I got a great seat to see the spectacular show.
Action happens all around the auditorium (including above). I was in (upper?) Manhattan so got a good overall view.
The seating did feel a bit temporary and didn’t have armrests – but uniauily had cup/bottle holders on the back of the seats in front of you.
The show is based on the true story of the newsboys stike New York in 1899 where the amount they had to pay for the powers they sold was increased, so they formed a union and went on strike to stand up against their mistreatment.

The seats were a lot more reasonably priced than other productions for this one night only touring show.
This was my third time seeing the Mind Mangler and random audience member, but the first time seeing it as a extended act without the rest of Magic Goes Wrong.
The performance and the real audience members (including a soon-to-be (now not so) secretly married couple, some retired people, a trading standards recruitment manager, a performance manager at the London Dungeon and someone who once met a man called John), were very funny and it was an enjoyable night out.

This was an amusing romcom about an unlucky in love woman and her friend who has asked his parents for an assisted marriage.

I saw this touring adaption of the Agatha Christie who done it featuring Miss Marple investing when a guest is positioned at a party of a Hollywood celebrity who has moved to St Mary Mead.
It is a Christie story where I remembered some of the plot and who did it but that didn’t spoil it as I was able to look out for misdirection and clues.

I got a £25 Rush Ticket from TodayTix, for this funny farcical comedy about a couple who accidentally end up inviting a murderer they meet on holiday (they didn’t Google her until too late) to come and stay with them. and their children.
The show was very funny, but the theatre felt cramped and it took a long time to get out – although despite being underground it was possible to get a mobile signal!

This continues the Marvel story of Scott Lang/Antman, Hope Van Dyne/The Wasp, along with Hope’s parents and Scott’s daughter.
They find themselves in the Quantum realm where they have big and small sized issues to deal with.
It is quite funny at times and helps a lot of you have some familiarity with the Marvel Cinematic Universe and it has is and post credit scenes.

I got a 25% off discount to see this classic musical and due to a near empty re I moved to a better seat at the interval.
It was a lavish spectacle that lasted just under 3 hours (including interval) but it didn’t feel that long.
It isn’t my favorite musical as it isn’t as happy as others and I didn’t like some of the story, but it had more humor than I was expecting and I would consider watching the stage version again in the future.

I got a £25 Rush Ticket from TodayTix for this and it was a good view.
This short play has a weird premise, the law is changed so that you can only say and write a combination of a total of 140 words a day. It only has 2 characters – a couple and looks at how the limit affects them.
It was amusing at points, but the concept wasn’t fully explored – what happens if you exceed the limit, how is it officially monitored, acronyms, hyphenated words, how does it work for sign language, etc?
It went back and forwards in time a lot to explore the couples relationship from.when they first met through to how they deal with the word limit.

Brendan Fraser stars as a morbidly obses father who tries to reconnect with his estranged teenage daughter before he dies.
It is a bit depressing at times, but there are a few comedy elements dotted about.
