BP Portrait Award 2020 – Virtual Tour – National Portrait Gallery

Due to the Coronavirus, this annual exhibition has moved online and is free.  It has 48 contemporary portraits, and you can move around the exhibition and click on any of the pictures to get a closer look.

It is a good way to bring art to more people and you have an opportunity to vote for your favourite picture.

Disney +

This is a new streaming/downloading subscription service with a massive (although not complete) back catalogue of film from Disney, Marvel, Pixar, National Geographic, 20th Century Studios and Searchlight, in addition to new and exclusive films and TV shows unique to Disney +.

Subscription costs £59.99 per year or £5.99 per month. At the time I signed up, they were offering a free 7-day trial.

You can download as well as stream, and the quality is good. Many of the titles include extras similar to those found on DVDs. The main problem I found was that although I could download the app to my Amazon Fire Tablet, I can only stream using a web browser on my laptop.
