Paddington’s home in darkest Peru is destroyed in an earthquake. His great aunt Lucy persuades him that he will have a better life England, having met a kind English explorer in the past who invited the family to visit. Paddington sneaks into the country by stowing away on a ship and then a train into Paddington station. there he meets the Brown family who take him in and have some adventures as he gets used to life in a new country.
