ACOD stands for adult children of divorce. Carter is an ACOD. When his brother wants to get married and asks for his help to get their parents to bot agree to come, he did the person he believed was a therapist who helped when he was a child for help. He discovers that he was used as a research subject for a children of divorce publication. the author decides to produce a sequel to look at the adults her subjects became.
Quite funny but an ambiguous ending.
