John & Mary are married and expecting a baby whilst Sherlock is “undercover” in a drug den. Magnussen is an evil man who collects information on people and then blackmails them.
John discovers Sherlock seems to be in a relationship with Janine from the wedding, but then discovers this is a ploy as she is Magnusson’s PA and Sherlock needs her to get into his office.
Sherlock is shot but survives, and John discovers that Mary is a former assassin and that she is the one who shot Sherlock, but eventually agrees to forgive her as she decided to not fatally wound him.
Sherlock and John go to Magnussen and to protect John and Mary Sherlock kills Magnussen.
Mycroft arranges to exile Sherlock (rather than send him to prison) but just as the plane takes off, Morriarty’s face appears on every TV in the country and Sherlcok is summoned back.
