Popular seaside destination set of a hill with a station at the top of the hill leading down to the shingle beach.
It has 1 functioning pier (see separate review) and a ruined pier, there is sometimes a land train, but it was being renovated at the time of visiting.
Travelling there on Thameslink tends to be cheaper but slightly longer than Southern trains.
