This film is about the kidnapping of John Paul Getty III in Italy in 1973. John Paul Getty I (grandfather to the victim) was originally played by Kevin Spacy, but had to be reshot with Christopher Plummer shortly before it’s relsease due to sexual assult allegations made againt Spacy.
The last minute changes are not particualy apparent, but the story does drag on a bit.
