Visit Review

London Zoo 20 May 2018

This visit was on a sunny day using my membership.  There were parts of the Zoo closed off after the fire in 2017, but most of it was open.  I even managed to spot the sloth in the rainforest area.

It was easy to visit using public transport with the 274 bus stopping nearby.

Crussh – Naked Burrito

This naked burrito has quinoa, roasted sweet potato, mixed bean salsa, guacamole & a lime slaw.  There are a lot of different tastes mixed together which makes it taste a little strange.

Crussh – Tabbouleh

This is a traditional tabbouleh with quinoa cucumber, tomato, onion and chickpeas with a pepper sauce.

It is quite a small helping so the price is a bit high for the amount of food.

Walk London Spring into Summer 2018 – Vauxhall to Putney

This was, unfortunately, due to be the last Walk London weekend where free led/guided walks are conducted across the capital to encourage people to walk more.

This was an interesting walk along the Thames Path on the south side between Vauxhall Station and the south side of Putney Bridge.  It included a couple of parks, a tunnel boring machine, a peace pagoda, a power station, a cats and dogs home and a lor of bridges.

Victoria and Albert Museum – Future

This exhibition looks at futuristic designs both from the past and ones for the future.  It felt like it was an exhibition more suited to the Science Museum down the road.
