Denzil Washington and Viola Davis star in this film about an angry retired baseball player who never made it to the big leagues due to the fact he is black. He now works as a dustman. He has an affair with a younger woman who then dies in childbirth, but his wife agrees to raise the baby as her own, despite his behaviour.
