In this romantic comedy sequel, Mia has just travelled to the kingdom of Genovia to take up her role as queen. Soon after arriving she discovers there is a problem as the constitution does not allow an unmarried woman to rule, and she has 30 days before either her coronation or the throne passes to another family.
The cast from the first film all reprise their roles incliding Anne Hathawya, Julie Andrews and Hector Hector Elizondo. They are joined by Raven-Symoné who has a singing duet with Julie Andrews and Chris Pine in his film debut.
