This House – National Theatre at Home

This is a political comedy about the events in the mid-1970s when Labour and the Tories each had a problem getting a majority in Parliament, so they had to have a few general elections to sort it out.  I found it interesting but a bit confusing keeping track of what was going on, and it may be easier to understand if you are familiar with that time in British political history.

They seemed to have some of the audience on stage forming the benches of parliament which looked a bit odd, particularly when the actors were also sharing the same benches.
