Devil’s Dyke

Lovely big open area owned by the National Trust, but with no entry fee (there is a fee for non-members parking).

There are many pathways, and you don’t need a car to visit, as the 77 bus from Brighton takes you there, or you can walk – although the area is incredibly hilly.

It is popular with paragliders and kite fliers and has excellent views of the local areas.

9/10
