Happiest Days of Your Life (1950)

This is a very funny comedy starring Alastair Sim and Margaret Rutherford as headteachers of a boys and girls school respectively.  The problems come when the girl’s school is billeted with the boy’s school making things very crowded with 2 sets of children, 2 sets of teachers but only one set of classrooms, offices, and dormitories.  Things are further complicated when parents from the girl’s school and governors of a boys school visit and must remain unaware that the school is mixed meaning one lot must only see girls and the other lot boys whilst touring the same school.
