This is a very good way to explore the main tourist areas of both Rochester and Chatham in Kent.
It costs £4.50 for a day ticket which allows you to hop on and off. There is a live costumed commentary on the route and it takes you to places such as Rochester Castle & Cathedral, Royal Engineers Museum and Chatham Historic Dockyard.
It only runs at peak times and is was not too crowded – the first bus of the day didn’t quite fill the upper desk, and in the afternoon the staff outnumbered the customers.
As with any open top bus you may need to be prepared for the weather with sun cream in the summer and wind blowing as at times it goes quite fast.
