There were good free views of London available from the top of the hill including autumnal colours.

It was a nice autumnal day in the park and you could see some of the London Zoo animals through the fence for free.

This visit was on an autumn day using my membership. There were parts of the Zoo closed off after the fire in 2017 and the aviary section, but most of it was open.
It was easy to visit using public transport with the 274 bus stopping nearby.
