This family drama based on a true story is in Mandarin Chinese (with English subtitles) with some parts in English.
It is about a family where the elderly matriarch has a terminal disease but most of her family do not want her to know as that is the culture in China. Members of her family arrive under the pretence of a family wedding to allow them to say goodbye and and the family discuss amongst the differences between the cultures in the countries where they live
It is largely subtitled, which (along with the subject matter) may put some people off, but in the end it isn’t as depressing as it sounds.
