Things started going wrong before it even began with error messages about the live stream which delayed it for half an hour until 8pm, and further technical problems when they were interacting with the audience. – but if things didn’t go wrong it wouldn’t be Mischief Theatre!
It was an 80s musical, set in a library called Careless Whisper. It was very funny and silly escapism about a library and a mayor who wants to bulldoze it because she can’t read with some flying hats – one of which actually landed where it was meant to! It even managed to overrun from the normal length of just under an hour to just over 1hour 10 mins
