Small Island – National Theatre: Olivier Theatre 2pm Saturday 9 April 2022

I don’t normally see straight plays – I normally prefer comedies, musicals or who done its. However, with £20 seats, I thought I’d give this a go – although this did have some amusing moments and music.

The seat was at the back of the circle but was a better view than more expensive seats in Theateland.

It was an interesting play about post war migration from Jamaica to the UK, and how the differing attitudes of the British affected them.

8/10
