This comedy-drama is loosely based on how the first military wives choir was established, by the wives left behind on an army base when their husbands and partners were deployed to Afganistan.
It does have some comedic elements but has emotional ones too. It ignores any publicity that military wices choirs got from Gareth Malones TV series.

In this legal drama, Mark Ruffalo stars as a lawyer trying to avenge corporate wrongdoing and get justice for people poisoned by chemicals produced by a company called DuPont that makes Teflon.
The story is complicated and drags a little, but that is largely due to the fact that the real case was conplex and took years ro resolve.
