Reasonable at £4 this street food vegan chickpea curry and rice was very spicy (a bit too hot for my tastes) and filling.

Holland and Barrett have started to have meal deals in some of their stores. These are similar to the meal deals you can get in shops like Boots, Sainsburys, Tesco & Waitrose where you get a sandwich/salad, snack and drink.
The main difference is that the Holland and Batarret options are focused on healthier alternatives with many vegetarian and vegan options.
The Vegan Hoi Sin CHick Wrap has a meat substitute with salad and sauce. It wasn’t gooey like some wraps can be and was quite filling, but a little bit bland as there was a lot of wrap but not much filling.

This noodle dish has shredded cattot, onion and beansprouts, with some vegetable Goyza dumplings and a spicy chili sauce. I would prefer extra vegetables like mushrooms and peppers to be mixed in with it.

This new addition to the range had plant based chicken substitute, vegan mayo and sweetcorn on brown bread. It is a bit plain but nice to have a bit more of a choice for vegetarians and vegans.

This vegan option at Greggs is a mix of spicy beans, sweet potato falafal and salad. The sauce on the beans is quite spicy and the falafal was a bit stodgy.

The Vegan Ahi is the only vegetarian dish on the menu and is a set salad. It has bright red chunks of a vegan plant-based “tuna” which I didn’t really like the taste of, but the rest of the salad tasted ok.
The banana bread didn’t tast as moist or bananary as expected.

This is a not very spicy and slightly bland curry made with plantain and other vegetables in a coconut sauce.

These are vegan dippers where you get 5 quite chunky dippers which taste a bit creamy with the vegan melted cheese inside with shredded Jackfruit. They don’t feel as healthy as some of the other vegan and vegetarian dishes as you can’t rellay see or taste anything healthy in it.

This costs £4.15. This has Pures meat substitute called “this isn’t chicken”, bbq sauce, beans, rice, sweet potato, tomato, spinach in a wrap. It is a very cold wrap and was overflowing, making it a bit hard to eat.

This vegan burger consists of a soya & beetroot patty with vegan mustard, sauce, tomatoes, lettuce, pickles and vegan cheese. Â It is quite gooey from the sauces but tastes ok.
