Jack is a farm boy who meets an unhappy princess when he is trying to sell his horse. A monk gives him beans in return for the horse which turn into a beanstalk to the giants kingdom.
Princess Isabelle is captured by the giants and her father the king sends his army and Jack to rescue her.
