These three friends have to fight against the pejudices of the others at NASA so that they can be taken seriously.

This 2 part dramatisation about the kidnapping of Shannon Matthews whose mother was found guilty of plotting the kidnapping with so wow else. It focuses o her friend who were taken in by her and how the truth affected them.

This exhibiton is about the Great Fire of London in 1666. It has examples of items that were burnt in the fire and the types of things that some people tried to save for eample some pepple were seen escaping on boats with their small pianos
It also mentions Newgate Prison where the prispners had to be evacuated to Southwark but some managed to escape in the process.

A grumpy man is asked to look after a grandfather he has never met when his son has to go to prison. His widowed neighbour helps them and hey end up as a family.

The main patient stories involve a poor single mother who is considering giving her new born baby to her cousin as she is in too much debt, and a patient who is in the neighbouring bed to Sheilagh who is also in danger of miscarriage. We learn a little more about Tom’s background, Nonatus gets a new midwife, keep fit classes start up again, there is some good news for the Turner’s, a garden party and a chariot race.

The exhibition shows many maps. It explains how they can help on wars, how they strated to be used for tourism an in films. It doesn’t go in to too much detail due to the volume of maps on show.

The library ha a number of free exhibitions. The largest has displays Of some of the more famous items it holds. This includes letters to from authors like Jane Austen, it has Nelson’s final letter to Emma Hamilton, and lots of religious items.
It also had a separate display of somr Quentin Blake illustrations and another with examples of advertising for Victorian shows.
