The Doctor is working as a professor at a university with his companion Nardole from previous shows, and meets a woman called Bill Potts who works in the canteen. The Doctor agrees to tutor Bill. Bill fancies a girl and makes a deal with her before the girls is captured by a puddle that transports you to different worlds and places them all in danger.
