I got a £25 Rush Ticket from TodayTix.
The venue is the former council chamber of County Hall on London’s South Bank. It was interstingband has far more foyer space than most regular theaters.
I had seen a TV adaptation and I was aware of one of the twists but that didn’t spoil it and it was more amusing than I’sld expected. 12 of the audience are seated in jury seats and vote on paper ballots on the verdict – I am not sure what happens if they vote the opposite way to the original play though.
It was almost in the round, with a basic set, and the story is different to most who done it’s as it focuses on the trial.
