I got a ticket from the Offical London Theatre Show Time Sale. It was a great seat in the stalls where you see more action than higher levels as they make use of the aisles a few times.
This is a musical adaptation of the Roald Dahl book about a girl who makes bet life better by reading, being proactive, fighting for justice – and sometimes being a little bit naughty.
There was a low level of mask wearing, but no obvious reminders to people. There were quite a lot of school children and families, but big kids are just as welcome too. If you get there early or stay in your seat you can try to spot words smo get the letters around the stage.
Overall it is a feel good fun comedy musical with some silliness in it.
10/10
